The goal of MCJA is to educate and train Competitive Cheer officials:

• Provide statewide programming to improve the quality of officiating
• Support MCJA members through a professional approach to officiating Competitive Cheer
• Communicate updated/revised information from MHSAA
• Maintain a roster of member officials
• Promote the MHSAA Code of Ethics
• Maintain the status of an approved association as defined by MHSAA
